Junior Solicitor
NZX is looking for a Junior Solicitor (0-2 Years experience). This position is part of the NZX Corporate Counsel and Market Supervision teams.
You will be working on teams that consider waivers, rulings, listings, capital raisings, rules compliance and submissions on related legislation; and drafting and reviewing contracts relating to market infrastructure, data, information, acquisitions and a variety of markets-related activities.
The successful candidate will have a Strong academic background (B+ average or better) proven interest in law as it relates to securities markets, strong written and verbal communication skills and proven relationship skills. They will also have the ability to operate well in a team environment, and the ability to take direction and deliver quality work within defined time frames. An abiding curiosity and a thirst for extensive learning and development is a must.
In return the role will ensure you develop an in depth understanding of NZX market rules and policies, coupled with knowledge of general commercial law, including companies and securities legislation and the law of contracts.
Market Supervision Team Coordinator
NZX is looking for a person with strong PA & sound organisation skills with proven ability to manage relationships to join their Market Supervision Team.
NZX Market Supervision Team is charged with developing, implementing and enforcing the regulatory environment for New Zealand's capital markets. The Market Supervision Team Co-ordinator will provide core administrative support functions across the Market Supervision team. This will include Compliance & Risk and Regulatory administration work, work flow management in both the Compliance Team and the broader Market Supervision Team, and case load/project management of compliance inspection work.
