NZX extends tender process for indices naming rights

22 July 2004 –New Zealand Exchange Limited (NZX) has today extended the deadline for organisations wishing to submit tenders in response to the recent NZX Indices RFP to Friday 30 July 2004. The tender period has been extended in response to requests for more time from several interested parties.

The NZX Indices are the internationally recognised performance benchmarks of the New Zealand securities markets and the companies listed on them.

The potential sale of the naming rights would cover any or all of the individual NZX Indices, and represents a unique opportunity for an organisation to become undeniably associated with New Zealand's financial markets.
