IT Application Specialist
The
prime responsibility of the NZX IT and Project Delivery team is to
monitor and operate the Core Market Technology, while offering a
customer approach to both internal and external clients. We pride
ourselves in customer delivery on all aspects with our team using ITIL
(The Information Technology Infrastructure Library) as its framework
for best practice operations and PRINCE 2 for Project Delivery.
NZX
are currently involved in developing and implementing some large
projects for delivery internally and externally – the IT and Project
Delivery teams are playing a big role in this work.
It is in
this team a permanent application specialist is needed to support TZ1
that recently went live. The successful incumbent will provide
application and database support for mission-critical applications in
line with NZX business strategy.
You will:
* have solid Oracle DBA and PL-SQL, Java and JDBC skills.
*
have knowledge of MS SQL, Linux OS (Red Hat distribution), Linux shell
scripting and familiarity with Weblogic Application server are strongly
preferred.
* provide application support for CSD, CCP, TZ1, Oracle
database, Weblogic and Data Group businesses migrated to the TCS
platform.

Strategy Analyst
The Strategy team works across the business – especially with the Finance, Regulatory, IT Delivery and Communications teams – to develop, test and design growth initiatives for NZX and its subsidiaries.
The strategy analyst will provide effective and accurate financial modelling, analysis and profiling to support decision making across the existing businesses of NZX. In addition, the analyst will research and develop recommendations for new businesses.
