Record Date for Entitlements for CENIZA & CENIZB
ABN AMRO Equity Derivatives New Zealand Limited as issuer of CONTACT ENERGY
LIMITED Instalment Warrants (NZX Code CENIZA & CENIZB), confirms that the
record date for entitlements to the NZD $0.11 distribution ($0.05417910576
imputation credit) for the CENIZA & CENIZB Instalments is 7 March 2008,
coinciding with the record date for the CONTACT ENERGY LIMITED Ordinary Share
dividend.
The CENIZA & CENIZB Instalment Warrants will commence trading ex-distribution
10 March 2008.
The dividend will be paid to instalment holders as soon as possible following
payment by the Company to the Trustee. In any event, it is anticipated that
the instalment dividend will be paid to holders no later than 5 business days
after the Company's dividend payment date of 26 March 2008 (i.e., 2 April
2008).
