The Company refers to its announcement of 17 October 2008 which stated that the resolution relating to the proposed adoption of The GuocoLeisure Limited Executives’ Share Option Scheme 2008 (“ESOS 2008”) in place of the existing GuocoLeisure Limited Executives’ Share Option Scheme and the existing Value Creation Incentive Share Scheme (“Existing Schemes”) had been duly passed at its Special General Meeting held on that day.
The Company is pleased to announce that the shareholders of Guoco Group Limited (“GGL”) have today approved the ESOS 2008. The Company is a subsidiary of GGL which is listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
Following the adoption of the ESOS 2008 with effect from today, the Existing Schemes have been terminated and are no longer in force.
