Rule 49A Notification
We refer to the full takeover offer for the ordinary shares of Mr Chips
Holdings Limited (MCH) by Simplot Mr Chips Limited (Simplot) dated 8 August
2008 (Takeover Offer).
On behalf of Simplot and in accordance with Rule 49A of the Takeovers Code we
advise of the following acceptances received under the Takeover Offer:
Acceptances received: 23,773,657 ordinary shares
Percentage of MCH ordinary shares that have accepted: 96.94%
