Metlifecare advised today that Mr Richard de Haast will be resigning his position as Chief Executive Officer and will be departing the Company at the end of July 2009.
Mr de Haast said, "I am proud of what the organisation has achieved over the past five years. The results reflect the passion and dedication of a large number of people who are focused on making retirement the best time of our residents’ lives. The facilities and services we have developed for our residents will ensure that Metlifecare continues to be a market leader and achieve ongoing success."
The Chairman of Metlifecare, Dr Charles MacDonald said "The strategy and the team in place will ensure the continuing success of Metlifecare. The Board respects Richard’s decision and appreciates the contribution he has made to the Company during his tenure as Chief Executive Officer and prior to that as General Manager Operations. Under his leadership the Company has grown significantly and has firmly established itself as one of New Zealand's premier retirement lifestyle village operators.”
