Metlifecare has today lodged a combined Investment Statement and Prospectus (“Offer Document”) with the New Zealand Companies Office for the pro rata renounceable rights issue, the details of which were outlined in an announcement by the company to NZX on 12 February 2009.
The Offer Document will be mailed to eligible shareholders as at 5.00pm on Friday 27 February 2009. The Offer Document will be mailed on or about 2 March 2009 and will be available to be viewed online at www.metlifecare.co.nz. The closing date for the offer is 27 March 2009.
Eligible shareholders should carefully read the Offer Document when they receive it. If they wish to participate in the offer, they will need to complete the Entitlement and Acceptance Form accompanying the Offer Document in accordance with the instructions set out in the Offer Document.
