At the Annual Meeting on 31 October I advised shareholders that Graeme Storey would be retiring as CFO/Company Secretary on 31 March 2009.
I am pleased to advise the appointment of
Ian Davis
as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 February, 2009. He will be located with the executive management group in Sydney.
Ian is an experienced finance professional having had 25 years in audit work with KPMG prior to moving into senior finance roles in manufacturing industry in Australia.
Over the past decade, he has been involved with the Southcorp Group and most recently Tenix. He is currently CFO of Tenix Pty Ltd.
Ian has wide experience in the typical CFO responsibilities of capital management, group reporting, tax, treasury, company secretarial, audit liaison, IT, insurance and compliance. In addition he has been much involved in recent years in strategy development and project management. He has also had broad international exposure with group finance and IT responsibilities for operations in Australasia, USA, China, Italy and the UK.
