PGG WRIGHTSON LIMITED - PROPOSED CAPITAL RAISING
PGG Wrightson has today confirmed its intention to undertake an equity
raising of approximately $100 million.
The Chairman, Craig Norgate, said the proceeds would be used in the purchase
of shares in Silver Fern Farms Limited, following approval by that company's
shareholders of a transaction whereby PGG Wrightson will become a 50 percent
shareholder.
The terms of the equity raising will be set following imminent discussions
with investors in New Zealand and internationally.
