PIKE RIVER (PRC) 2008 ANNUAL MEETING AND CLOSING DATE FOR DIRECTOR
NOMINATIONS
Pike River Coal advises that the Annual Meeting will be held on Friday 28
November 2008 commencing at 12.30 pm. The venue will be Pike River Coal's
mine administration office, 586 Logburn Road, Atarau, Greymouth.
For the purposes of NZSX Listing Rule 3.3.2 Pike River Coal advises that the
closing date for nomination of directors is 26 September 2008. Nominations
must be received at the registered office of the company (see below), be made
by a shareholder entitled to attend and vote at the meeting, and be
accompanied by the nominated person's consent in writing to act as a director
if elected.
