Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
NZX's open architecture gives Market Participants a wide range of front-end trading applications to choose from. The front-end trading applications designed by the various accredited Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and those produced in-house by member-developers provide tailored trading solutions depending on the focus of the Market Participant in question.
NZX are always keen to hear from ISVs or member developers who wish to write to the NZX Trading Engine via FIX 4.2 and thereby increase the number of choices for Market Participants.

Accredited ISV Functionality Reports
NZX require that all ISV applications meet a set of minimum requirements. ISV Applications do not have to meet the entire set of functionality provided by the NZX Trader Workstations. The below reports outline the functionality supported by the accredited NZX ISV's.

Back Office System Vendors
Back Office System vendors (BOS) develop custom interfaces to the FASTER Settlement System (FSS) to enable Market Participants to interact with FSS easier and quicker. FSS is used by Market Participants for enquiries and by Post Trade Participants to deliver and settle trades. Before entry to Market all back office system software goes through a NZX technical conformance to ensure integrity of the software.
