CHANGES TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mainfreight Limited advises that it has received the resignation of Neil Graham as a director with immediate effect, and Donald (Don) Rowlands has advised his intention to resign in December this year.
Mainfreight’s Chairman, Bruce Plested, has regretfully accepted the resignation of long-standing Director, Neil Graham, for reasons of ill-health.
“Neil has been my partner for the whole time Mainfreight has existed,” said Mr Plested. “Neil’s contribution to Mainfreight has been huge, particularly in the gaining and keeping of some of the biggest business customers in New Zealand. Neil will always remain a part of Mainfreight and we know that he will use all his strength to deal with his present health problems”.
Don Braid, Group Managing Director of Mainfreight, said “We have been incredibly fortunate with the stability of our Board, and with the calibre of the Directors who have shaped our Company. Don Rowlands and Neil Graham have been associated with Mainfreight from the start and their passion, energy and commitment to the Company, its team and its customers will be greatly missed”.
Mainfreight holds its Annual Meeting of Shareholders at 4.00pm on Thursday this week, at the Villa Maria Estate in Mangere.
