NZX Operating Metrics - December and Full Year 2007

• Total capital raised closed up strongly on last year with a total of $5.5 billion equity and debt raised in 2007.
• Breakdown of total capital raised during the year comprised $2.79 billion in equity and $2.72 billion of debt.



• There was $483 million of new equity raised and $375 million of new debt raised in December.
• Average daily trades for 2007 were 2,478, a 6% increase on 2006.
• Number of NZX Data Real time terminals has increased to 10,627, up 20% on 2006.
• Instalment warrant trades showed good growth, up 61% on 2006.
• Smartshares now has $652 million in funds under management across its five funds.
