New members appointed to the NZMDT

NZX has appointed Deemple Budhia, Rachel Dunne, Ivana Erceg Floerchinger and Simon Vodanovich, to the NZ Markets Disciplinary Tribunal (NZMDT) for a three year term. The Financial Markets Authority has confirmed their appointments. Deemple Budhia is a partner at national law firm Russell McVeagh. She has extensive New Zealand and international experience, specialising in debt capital markets, securitisation and derivatives law. Deemple holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Auckland. Rachel Dunne is a partner at national law firm Chapman Tripp, specialising in equity capital markets. She has extensive experience advising listed companies on corporate and securities law obligations. Rachel is a representative member of the Listed Companies Association and sits on the Board of Trustees for the Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Education Trust. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Victoria University of Wellington. Ivana Erceg Floerchinger is Head of Legal and Compliance and Company Secretary for Hobson Wealth Partners Limited, an NZX Advising Firm. She has more than 15 years' of financial services and legal experience in New Zealand and the United States, including fund, broker and advisory compliance. Ivana is a graduate of the New England School of Law (Honours) and Queens University of Charlotte (Summa cum laude). Simon Vodanovich is a partner at national law firm Buddle Findlay and heads its Corporate Law Team. He has more than 25 years' legal experience in corporate and capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions and financial markets conduct issues. Simon holds a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington.
