Changes to Executive team at Trade Me

3 July 2017 Changes to Executive team at Trade Me Trade Me Group Limited (TME) has reorganised its management, including some changes to its Executive team. Trade Me CEO Jon Macdonald said the new structure reflected Trade Me's strategic priorities, and would assist the business in its continued growth. The reorganisation had three main parts: o To make engagement with customers and the public more cohesive by appointing Trade Me's inaugural Chief Customer Officer. This role will be filled by Trent Mankelow (currently Trade Me's Chief Product Officer, a role he has held since October 2014). o To better deliver on tech and product priorities with a new Chief Product and Technology Officer position. This would bring together the key elements of product development, data and technology platforms. The current General Manager of Platform and Operations, David Wasley, will act as CPTO until a permanent appointment is made, and will move on from the business later in the year after more than 10 years at Trade Me. o To reflect the continued growth in scale and importance of its classifieds businesses, Alan Clark (Head of Trade Me Motors) and Jeremy Wade (Head of Trade Me Jobs) join the Executive team. This follows on from Head of Commercial Jimmy McGee's decision to finish up in September, having had more than 11 years in the business.
