Page 1 of 1 Media/ASX and NZX Release 11 July 2017 Downer's Offer for Spotless - Extension of Offer Period to 7:00pm on 21 July 2017 (unless further extended) Downer EDI Limited (Downer) refers to its unconditional takeover offer (Offer) for Spotless Group Holdings Limited (Spotless).1 Downer has decided to extend the Offer Period for ten days, so that the Offer will now remain open for acceptance until 7:00pm (Sydney time) on Friday, 21 July 2017 (unless further extended under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (Corporations Act)). A fourth supplementary bidder's statement (Fourth Supplement), which encloses a formal notice under section 650D of the Corporations Act in connection with the extension of the Offer Period will be lodged with the ASX today. Downer's Offer for Spotless is unconditional. Downer encourages remaining Spotless shareholders to accept the Offer as soon as possible to realise a certain cash premium for their Spotless shares.
