Transpower announces appointment under Future Directors pro

The Board of Transpower New Zealand Limited is pleased to announce its participation in The Treasury's Future Directors programme, an initiative designed to increase diversity on state sector boards and strengthen the pipeline of aspiring leaders in the private and public sectors. Jennifer Moxon, currently Beachhead Advisor with NZ Trade and Enterprise, has been appointed as the company's first participant in the Future Director programme. Jennifer has over 20 years' senior leadership and executive director experience working with IBM in New Zealand and Australia. She was most recently Vice President and General Manager for Digital Innovation and Cloud, responsible for developing the overall business and customer strategy working across multiple industry segments including public sector. During 2009-2014, Jennifer was Managing Director and CEO for IBM New Zealand and in this role held a number of local non-executive roles, including at Victoria University Faculty of Commerce and NZ Business Parliamentary Trust. Jennifer attended her first Board meeting on 21 November 2017, and her appointment will continue until 31 October 2018.
