CHIEF EXECUTIVE ULTRAFAST FIBRE RETIRES

WEL advises that the Chief Executive of its 85% owned fibre business, Ultrafast Fibre Limited (UFF), William Hamilton has retired from the business. WEL Chairman, Rob Campbell thanked Mr Hamilton for his service to the company. "William has been the leader in creating a world class fibre business in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki and Whanganui. We and the communities are very appreciative of his contribution." The Board of Directors will work quickly to find the best replacement they can for William. They will also work directly with the senior executive team at UFF to ensure that the current business momentum and performance continues.
