Shareholder Director election result

The MTF Finance Annual Meeting was held in Hamilton on 21 March 2019. Mike King retired by rotation as a shareholder director and chose not to offer himself for re-election. Noel Johnston accepted a nomination for a shareholder director position and being eligible, offered himself for election. Rick Murrell accepted a nomination for a shareholder director position and being eligible, offered himself for election Voting was by way of poll with Noel elected. The poll results were as follows: Candidate For % votes for Noel Johnston 10,600,198 88.00% Rick Murrell 1,409,542 11.70% As a result of the poll the shareholders passed the resolution to appoint Noel Johnston as director of MTF, effective 21 March 2019. Noel has been a shareholder of MTF Finance since 1985 and he established one of the original MTF Finance franchises in Dunedin in 2008. Subsequently, with business partners, Noel has successfully established franchises in Invercargill and Queenstown. The board, management and staff would like to take the opportunity to thank Mike King for his service to the company. Mike has served as a director of MTF Finance since June 2010 and has been chair of the Credit Committee for the past seven years. He has made a significant contribution to the company's development and has been a passionate and valued director.
