Memorandum To: Market Participants From: NZX Product Operations Date: Friday, 27 March 2020 Subject: Smiths City Group Limited ("SCY") - Trading Halt of Securities Message: NZX Regulation ("NZXR") advises that, at the request of the issuer, it has placed a trading halt on Smiths City Group Limited ("SCY") ordinary shares. The trading halt was placed at pre-market open today. The trading halt has been put in place as a result of discussions between SCY and its primary lender, ASB, pending the release of an announcement by SCY addressing refinancing proposals. The halt will remain in place until the earlier of: o An announcement made by SCY as described above; or o Market open on Tuesday, 31 March 2020.
