Maile Carnegie appointed to ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited

Maile Carnegie, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZBGL) Group Executive - Digital and Australia Transformation, will join the Board of ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (ANZB) on 15 May 2021 as a Non-Executive Director. Ms Carnegie replaces former ANZBGL Group Chief Financial Officer Michelle Jablko who recently left ANZBGL. Ms Carnegie has received a non-objection from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Ms Carnegie has been a Group Executive at ANZBGL since 2016. She currently has responsibilities for transformation of ANZBGL's Australian Retail and Commercial businesses, and accountabilities for data, automation, innovation, design and marketing, including brand, advertising and sponsorship. Before joining ANZBGL, Ms Carnegie was Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand for Google and Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand for Proctor and Gamble. Ms Carnegie currently Chairs the Vice Chancellor's Advisory Board for the University of Technology Sydney, and has been a panel member of the Prime Minister's Independent Review of the Australia Public Service and chaired the Business Council of Australia's Innovation Task Force.
