CCHL ANNOUNCES FULL YEAR RESULTS

CHRISTCHURCH CITY HOLDINGS LIMITED ANNOUNCES FULL YEAR RESULTS This announcement reports on results for the year ended 30 June 2021. o 2021 Group net profit $93m; 2021 SoI target $5m; 2020 Group net loss $(54)m o Better than expected recovery from COVID-19 o Improved impairment and revaluation movements following Lyttelton Port Company (LPC) asset revaluation in 2020 Christchurch City Holdings Limited (CCHL) has announced a consolidated Group profit of $93 million for the 2021 financial year, after taking into account the effects of COVID-19 across the Group. The CCHL Group comprises the parent company (CCHL) and a diverse range of infrastructure assets, including Orion New Zealand Limited, Christchurch International Airport Limited, Lyttelton Port Company Limited, Enable Services Limited, City Care Limited, EcoCentral Limited, RBL Property Limited and Development Christchurch Limited. Operating across a number of sectors enabled the Group to balance the overall effects of COVID-19 on the operations and earnings of the Group. The Group net profit of $93 million outperformed the Group's 2021 Statement of Intent ('SoI') net profit target of $5m as a result of its better than expected recovery from COVID-19, and improved on the 2020 Group net loss largely due to improved impairment and revaluation movements following Lyttelton Port Company (LPC) asset revaluation in 2020.
