CCHL ANNOUNCES FULL YEAR RESULTS

The CCHL Group comprises the parent company (CCHL) and a diverse range of key infrastructure assets, including Orion New Zealand Limited, Christchurch International Airport Limited, Lyttelton Port Company Limited, Enable Services Limited, City Care Limited, EcoCentral Limited, RBL Property Limited and Development Christchurch Limited. Operating across a number of sectors gives the Group the ability to balance the short term challenges from the impact of a lack of tourism at the airport and the lockdowns which restricted contracting activity during the reporting period. The sea port, fibre and electricity businesses have performed well in supporting the Group and the wider community during this time. The Group net profit of $121 million outperformed last year's result of $93 million and the Group's Statement of Intent (SOI) FY22 net profit target of $65 million as a result of increased container volumes and pricing at LPC, connection growth at Enable, a non-taxable fair value gain on the land component of CIAL's investment properties, and another solid performance from Orion.
