Mark Verbiest to retire from the ANZ Bank New Zealand Ltd

ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (ANZB) announced today that Mark Verbiest, independent non-executive director, will retire from the ANZB Board on 31 December 2022. Mr Verbiest was appointed a director, and Chair of the ANZB Audit Committee, on 10 October 2013. Mr Verbiest is a member of the Risk Committee, Conduct & Culture Committee and Human Resources Committee. Board Chair, Sir John Key, paid tribute to Mr Verbiest. "ANZB has been lucky to have someone of Mark's governance and executive experience on its board. Mark has helped oversee significant pieces of work for ANZB, including the sale of UDC Finance Limited", Sir John said.
