Appointment of Directors

Appointment of Directors Christchurch City Holdings Limited (CCHL), the investment arm of Christchurch City Council, is pleased to announce that the Christchurch City Council has approved the reappointment of Sara Templeton and the appointment of Sam MacDonald to the CCHL Board, effective 1 February 2023. Sara's reappointment follows her automatic retirement from the CCHL Board on 8 January 2023 following a three year term. Sara was elected as a Christchurch City Councillor in 2016, following three years chairing the Hagley-Ferrymead Community Board. Sara has a background in education, sustainability and community initiatives and is the Climate Change Portfolio Lead at Council. Sam was elected as a Christchurch City Councillor in 2019. As a Chartered Accountant, Sam has a background in accounting, audit and infrastructure and Chairs the Council's Finance and Performance Committee, and Insurance Sub-Committee. Sam is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.
