Wellington Airport announces new Director

21 November 2025 Wellington Mayor Andrew Little joins Board of Wellington Airport Wellington Airport has been informed by Wellington City Council that Mayor Andrew Little has been appointed to the Board as representative of Wellington City Council, effective immediately. Mayor Little replaces outgoing Mayor Tory Whanau who served on the Airport Board as Wellington City Council’s representative since 2022.
