NZX in conjunction with the NZX CGI published a post implementation study report (Report) into the use of the NZX Remuneration Reporting Template (Template), a tool designed to assist issuers in preparing their remuneration reporting disclosures. The Report assessed how the Template had been received by the issuer community and evaluated whether the Template had achieved its goals of supporting assistance, transparency, and consistency in relation to remuneration reporting disclosures.
The New Zealand Finance Colloquium (NZFC) is an annual event organised by New Zealand Universities to promote the discussion, dissemination, and development of finance related research within New Zealand. The 29th edition of the event was held at the University of Otago on the 13th and 14th of February 2025.
Papers are submitted to the NZFC, who then review the submissions and decide the winner.

As part of the initial stage of the director independence review in 2023, the Institute commissioned academic research from Dr. Griffin Geng on the independence of board directors in the context of publicly listed firms. The research report is available linked below.
