EVO announces change of balance date

9 April 2020 Change of Balance Date Evolve Education Group Limited (NZX/ ASX: EVO) advises that NZ Inland Revenue has approved its application to change the EVO balance date to 31 December annually. The Board of EVO is of the opinion that it will be helpful to align the Company's balance date (financial year end) with what international investors, financial institutions and retail shareholders are more familiar with. This change will take effect after the end of the current financial year end (balance date), i.e. 31 March 2020. The change of balance date means that EVO will release three sets of accounts over the next 12 months (subject to any Covid-19 related changes): 1) For the financial year ended 31 March 2020; 2) For the new balance date, interim results for the 6 months ending 30 June 2020; and 3) For the new balance date, for financial year ending 31 December 2020.
