MEDIA RELEASE 19 OCTOBER 2020 SCHEME UPDATE - NOTICE OF OPPOSITION WITHDRAWN Metlifecare Limited (NZX: MET, ASX: MEQ) has been advised that ResIL Investments Limited (ResIL), the Metlifecare shareholder who lodged a Notice of Opposition to the Scheme of Arrangement (Scheme) with Asia Pacific Village Group Limited (APVG), has withdrawn its opposition, effective immediately. Metlifecare and APVG have agreed with ResIL not to seek recovery of their costs from ResIL or its sole director Mr Craig Priscott. The Takeovers Panel has also now issued its 'no objection' statement. The High Court hearing on the final orders sought in respect of the Scheme is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 20 October at 10:00am.
