Final date for objections to Scheme of Arrangement

On 25 March 2022, shareholders in Z Energy Limited (NZX/ASX: ZEL) ("Z Energy") voted in favour of a Scheme of Arrangement ("Scheme") under which 100% of the shares in the Company will be acquired by Ampol Holdings NZ Limited ("Ampol"). The Scheme is subject to approval from the Overseas Investment Office ("OIO"). The OIO decision is still expected to be obtained by mid-April. A further announcement will be made when an OIO decision is received. The application for Final Court Orders approving the Scheme is currently scheduled to be considered before the presiding judge at the High Court in Wellington on 13 April 2022. If OIO approval is not received prior to the High Court hearing on 13 April 2022, a revised High Court hearing date will be set and a further announcement made.
