Mt Difficulty shareholders approve sale to FFW

29 November 2017 Mt Difficulty shareholders approve sale to FFW Foley Family Wines Limited [NZX: FFW] is pleased to advise that the shareholders of Mt Difficulty Wines Limited (MDW) have approved the purchase by FFW of all of the Mt Difficulty Wines assets and business in accordance with the agreement signed and announced on 14 November 2017. Completion of the transaction agreement remains conditional on a number of matters, including FFW's shareholder approval, Overseas Investment Office approval and obtaining key third party consents. As previously advised, subject to FFW's shareholder approval, which is proposed to be sought in the first quarter of 2018, it is anticipated the acquisition will be completed by around 30 June 2018. Further, FFW is delighted to announce that Dashwood Pinot Noir won three trophies at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards on Saturday. Specifically, Dashwood Pinot Noir won Champion Pinot Noir, Champion Open Red Wine and Reserve Wine of Show. In addition, Goldwater Sauvignon Blanc won Champion Sauvignon Blanc and Champion White Wine.
