Board and Executive Appointments

Board Appointments Cavalier Corporation advises that the Directors have, following the Annual Meeting of shareholders in October, appointed Alan Clarke Deputy Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Board's Remuneration Committee. The Directors have also appointed John Rae Chairman of the Board's Audit Committee, a role previously held by Steve Bootten who retired from the Board at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting. Executive Appointments The Company advises that Victor Tan has been appointed to the dual position of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary with effect immediately. Victor is a long-serving employee of the Company, having previously filled senior financial positions within the Company and served as Company Secretary for some considerable time. We are also delighted to appoint experienced communications professional Lenska Papich to the newly-created position of General Manager Communications, People and Engagement effective 29 January 2018, reflecting the Company's increased focus on effective communication and culture within the business, as well as developing HR functions with the intent of driving productivity gains and improving business performance. Lenska has had various senior communications and engagement roles in New Zealand. She's been a consultant to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise's NZ Story Group, successfully run the NZ Government's 2011 Rugby World Cup Media Programme for Tourism New Zealand and held positions as Head of Communications for the NZ Racing Board (TAB) and most recently 2degrees. Lenska will bring value to our Company's on-going transformation from a people and engagement perspective and assist us in better communicating with staff and stakeholders and also add weight to our executive team, particularly in the development of our own New Zealand proposition offshore. We are pleased to be able to make these appointments to the executive team as we continue to work on moving the business forward.
