Appointment of New Independent Director

Investore Property Limited (Investore) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Grainne Troute to the Board as an Independent Director. Grainne will join Investore's Board effective from 19 April 2018 and will stand for election at the 2018 Annual Shareholder Meeting. Ms Troute's appointment to the Investore Board follows an amendment to the constitution of Investore approved by shareholders at the 2017 Annual Shareholder Meeting, facilitating the appointment of an additional and third independent Director, to increase the independent representation on the Board for the benefit of shareholders and the company. The Board will now comprise of two Directors appointed by Stride Investment Management Limited, and three independent Directors appointed by Investore shareholders. Investore's Chairman, Mike Allen, notes that Ms Troute's appointment follows a comprehensive search to identify someone who has the necessary skills to support Investore in its next phase of development. Grainne Troute is a very experienced executive, with over 30 years' experience within both listed and unlisted entities in highly competitive customer-focused sectors, including four years as Managing Director of McDonalds New Zealand and eight years as Group General Manager Corporate Services with SKYCITY Entertainment Group. Ms Troute has significant experience in retail and property, both during her time as an executive and in a governance capacity. Currently Ms Troute is a Chartered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and is also a director of Tourism Holdings Limited, Evolve Education Group Limited and Summerset Group. Ms Troute also has experience within the not-for-profit sector, having been the Chair of Ronald McDonald House Charities New Zealand for five years.
