Refinery shutdown update

29/05/2018, 07:12 NZST, MKTUPDTE

The overall shutdown is progressing well with the total refinery shut phase completed to plan. Of the five distinct work fronts four are on plan . Some emergent maintenance work has been identified over the weekend in the hydrocracker work front. This means that the 39 day shut phase of the hydrocracker unit will be extended to around 48 days in total. The impact of the emergent work is a reduction in NPAT of around $5-$7 million and in throughput of around 500,000 barrels.
