Chief Financial Officer Appointment

NZAX ANNOUNCEMENT 28 March 2019 Chief Financial Officer Appointment Cooks Global Foods (CGF) wishes to advise the market that Scott Pearson has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Mr Pearson replaces Craig Brown who has been on sabbatical leave since just before Christmas and has now decided to pursue other interests. Mr Brown, who held the CGF's CFO position for 5 years, will remain as a consultant to CGF. CGF Executive Chairman Keith Jackson said: "For the last four months Scott has led the Cooks finance team giving Craig a well-deserved break. Cooks is fortunate he has now agreed to take on the permanent CFO position. "We are sorry to be losing Craig as he explores new opportunities, but we are delighted he will continue as a consultant to the company and continue to contribute to Cooks in this different capacity." Mr Pearson brings to CGF senior executive experience from a broad range of industries including the coffee industry where he was the CFO for Burton Hollis. Other industries include travel, hospitality, education, manufacturing, insurance and local government. He also holds governance roles with a number of organisations including the New Zealand Gambling Commission, the Auckland Regional Amenities Funding Board, Selwyn College and Repromed Fertility Clinic. Mr Pearson is a FCPA, a CA and has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Information Systems from the University of Auckland and a German Language Diploma from the Volkshochschule Heidelberg e.
