20 June 2019 Alleged breaches of the Medicines Act 1981 As advised in the Annual Report to shareholders, and at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on 31 May 2019, the company was due to appear in the District Court today for the first hearing of nine charges relating to alleged breaches of the Medicines Act 1981. Despite being provided with disclosure documents on 13 March 2019, the Ministry of Health has advised the company that additional disclosures are to be made available to the company. As of this week those disclosures have not been received by the company. At the hearing today the matter has been adjourned, with the agreement of the Crown Prosecutor, until 8 August 2019.
