Response to media reports concerning OSB

Media reporting on OSB 29 November 2019 In response to media reporting on matters relating to Outside Broadcast Ltd (OSB), Sky provides the following comments: Sky is looking at a range of options to transform and grow the business in a digital world. Among a number of options, Sky is looking at its capital investments and assessing whether they are being optimised. That work includes Sky's Outside Broadcast service division OSB, and Sky is at the early stages of assessing its options, including inviting NEP to assess the OSB assets. Sky purchased OSB in 2010 and they deliver exceptional services for Sky Sport. Regardless of what decisions are made about its future ownership, OSB's technology and the expertise of the OSB crew are an important part of the Sky Sport delivery, and that won't change. Producing and delivering excellent sport up and down New Zealand, from grassroots to high performance, is what Sky Sport does. The question being asked is whether Sky needs to use its own capital to deliver the Outside Broadcast aspects, and Sky is only at the early stages of that process. No decisions have been made.
