Gentrack appoints James Spence as CFO

9 March 2020 Gentrack Group Ltd (NZX/ASX: GTK) is pleased to announce the appointment of James Spence as Chief Financial Officer, commencing 1 April 2020. From 2015 - 2020 James has been the CFO of ERM Power (ASX: EPW), Australia's second largest Commercial and Industrial energy retailer which was recently acquired by Shell Energy Australia. Prior to ERM Power, between 2012-2015, James was CFO of Energy Australia, part of the CLP group of companies, and one of Australia's "big 3" integrated energy companies. Prior to moving to Australia in 2012, James spent 10 years with Centrica plc, the owner of British Gas in the UK and Direct Energy in North America. During this time James worked in senior finance roles across British Gas, the UK's largest integrated energy retail company, Centrica Energy and as CFO of Direct Energy, a business with more than 3 million customers across North America. James is a Chartered Accountant originally starting his career at PwC in London in 1990, with extensive international finance experience.
