OIO approves Big Chill Acquisition

On 30 October 2019 Freightways Limited (Freightways) announced it had entered into a sale & purchase agreement to acquire Big Chill Distribution Limited (Big Chill, or the Acquisition). As set out in that announcement, completion of the Acquisition was conditional on Overseas Investment Office (OIO) approval. The OIO has now approved the Acquisition, and completion is expected to occur on 1 April 2020. Once completion has occurred, the Company will provide more information regarding the Big Chill business and its integration into Freightways.
