Air New Zealand CEO’s email to staff and customers

Late last night (30 March 2020) Chief Executive Officer Greg Foran sent an email to customers and staff of Air New Zealand, confirming that the airline would be making substantial reductions to its workforce due to the significant decline in revenue that has resulted from the outbreak of COVID-19. Please note that this email is not intended to provide a forecast or guidance on revenue or earnings for the 2020 financial year. As previously disclosed, the situation is evolving at such a rapid pace that the airline is not in a position to provide an earnings outlook to the market at this time.
