ArborGen postpones 2020 Annual Shareholders Meeting

13 August, 2020 ArborGen Holdings Limited (ArborGen) announced today that the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of ArborGen scheduled for 10.30am Tuesday 18 August 2020 (NZ time) will be adjourned to a time and date to be advised. Following the Government's sudden announcement on Tuesday night that the Auckland Region move to COVID-19 alert level 3 from 12pm Wednesday 12th August, ArborGen believes it is prudent for the health and safety of our shareholders to adjourn the meeting. While alert level 3 is currently in place to midnight Friday 14th August (subject to further notification), given community transmission of COVID-19 in Auckland is now confirmed and the Government's recent announcements indicate the risk of rapid spread is currently high, we believe adjournment is in the best interests of our shareholders. Shareholders will be notified of the details of the adjourned meeting within the next 10 days. This will allow ArborGen sufficient time to confirm availability of the share registrar for online voting as the adjourned meeting will most likely be a virtual meeting depending on timing.
