UPDATE ON SKYCITY’S NEW ZEALAND PROPERTIES

SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SKC.NZX/SKC.AX) 26 August 2020 Update on SkyCity's New Zealand Properties SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited ("SkyCity") advises that its Auckland casino and entertainment facilities currently remain closed and its Hamilton and Queenstown properties remain open. This follows the announcement by the New Zealand Government on 24 August 2020 that the COVID-19 Alert Level will remain: o at Alert Level 3 in Auckland until 11.59pm on 30 August 2020 and, subject to there being no significant change in the current COVID-19 cluster's growth and trajectory, move down to Alert Level 2 from 11.59pm on 30 August 2020; and o at Alert Level 2 for the rest of New Zealand. SkyCity expects to reopen its Auckland property at Alert Level 2 on 31 August 2020 with the same physical distancing and hygiene measures in place as previously implemented at Alert Level 2 and currently deployed at its Hamilton and Queenstown properties. The New Zealand Government intends to review the COVID-19 Alert Levels before 6 September 2020. SkyCity will provide further updates as new material information becomes available.
