UPDATE ON SKYCITY’S NEW ZEALAND PROPERTIES

SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SKC.NZX/SKC.AX) 22 September 2020 Update on SkyCity's New Zealand Properties The New Zealand Government announced yesterday that Auckland will remain at Alert Level 2 and the rest of New Zealand will move to Alert Level 1 at 11.59pm on Monday 21 September 2020. At Alert Level 1, there are no restrictions on mass gatherings and physical distancing requirements for businesses outside of Auckland. Accordingly, from today, at SkyCity's Hamilton and Queenstown properties: o events and promotions can recommence; o electronic gaming machines and gaming tables will operate as usual without physical distancing requirements - in particular, the gaming "zones" implemented at Alert Level 2 will be removed; and o members of the public will be able to return to the casino (previously restricted to SkyCity Premier Rewards members only at Alert Level 2). At Alert Level 2, SkyCity's Auckland property remains open with physical distancing and hygiene requirements in place. SkyCity will continue to adhere to the Ministry of Health's guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in addition to SkyCity's own existing health, safety and hygiene standards to protect employees and customers. The New Zealand Government intends to review the COVID-19 Alert Levels on 5 October 2020. SkyCity will provide further updates as new material information becomes available.
