Cannasouth co-founder and Executive Director Retires

Cannasouth Limited (NZX: CBD, Cannasouth) announces that Mr. Nicholas Foreman, co-founder and Executive Director of Cannasouth will retire from the company with effect from 7 October 2020. Mr. Foreman will also relinquish his role as a director of Cannasouth Bioscience Limited, and Cannasouth Cultivation Limited. Mr. Foreman will continue to be available to advise and mentor the executive management team of Cannasouth. Mr. Foreman said "with the recent grant of a commercial cultivation and manufacture license to Cannasouth Bioscience Limited, I have achieved what I set out to do, to build a solid platform for the company to grow and prosper in the New Zealand medicinal cannabis industry. I intend to remain a long-term investor in the company. It's the right time for me to retire." Mr Tony Ho, chairman congratulated Mr. Foreman for his industry expertise gathered over the past 18 years from hemp cultivation through to medicinal cannabis research and to the genesis of the emerging New Zealand medicinal cannabis sector.
