Update on the Trans-Tasman

23/07/2021, 14:25 NZST, ADMIN

The New Zealand Government has announced today that the Trans-Tasman quarantine free travel bubble will be suspended from 11.59pm tonight. The suspension will be in place for the next eight weeks, after which time the decision will be reviewed. This is expected to have a short-term operational and financial impact on Air New Zealand's business until such time as the bubble reopens. The airline will respond to these changes and will provide a further update, if needed, as the situation progresses. Ends.
