Serko Announces Appointment of New Director

Serko Limited (NZX/ASX:SKO), a leader in online travel booking and expense management technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jan Dawson as an independent director on the Board. She will replace Simon Botherway, who is standing down from the Board at the conclusion of Serko's Annual Meeting, to be held on 18 August 2021. Ms Dawson's appointment will take effect from the conclusion of the 2021 Annual Meeting. Ms Dawson is currently Chair of Westpac New Zealand, Deputy Chair of Air New Zealand and an independent director for AIG New Zealand and Meridian Energy. Ms Dawson has indicated that she is stepping down from both the Air New Zealand and Westpac Boards later this year. Ms Dawson said: "I'm excited to be able to contribute to the governance of Serko during a pivotal period in the Company's history. Serko presents substantial innovative promise for New Zealand and the travel industry more broadly. I have been watching the company with interest for many years and it feels like an excellent time to bring my experience to the Company as it scales internationally."
