After nearly a decade as CEO of Third Age Health, Michael Haskell has signalled to the board that he would like to, in time, step down from his CEO role. Mr Haskell joined the Company as a shareholder and director in early 2012, and was appointed CEO in September 2013. Founder and Chairman Bevan Walsh thanks Michael for his service over the last 9 years, and points out that Michael has taken Third Age Health from providing medical services to fewer than 1,000 patients, to over 6,000 now. Bevan comments further, "Michael also adroitly navigated the company through the first part of the COVID 19 pandemic, and played a key role in steering the company through its listing on NZX in early 2021. Michael has shown tremendous commitment to the company in these and other ways, and we are very grateful for his dedication." While Michael continues to put his energy into the role, the board is undertaking a search for the right replacement. Michael says, "As long-serving CEO and a shareholder, I'm incredibly committed to Third Age Health. The company has built up a supportive, inclusive culture over the last decade. I will support my replacement when they are selected to ensure a smooth handover."
