REOPENING OF SKYCITY HAMILTON AND QUEENSTOWN PROPERTIES

MARKET RELEASE SkyCity Entertainment Croup Limited (SKC.NZX/SKC.AX) Reopening of SkyCity Hamilton and Queenstown Properties SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SKC.NZX/SKC.AX) (SkyCity) advises that it expects to reopen its casino and entertainment facilities in Hamilton and Queenstown from 8 September 2021. This follows the announcement by the New Zealand Government on 6 September 2021 that the COVID-19 Alert Level for New Zealand, excluding Auckland, will move to Alert Level 2 from 11.59pm on 7 September 2021. SkyCity will reopen its Hamilton and Queenstown properties in a staged manner and with additional health and safety measures in place to reflect the Ministry of Health's latest recommendations and guidelines for operating at Alert Level 2. Up to date opening times are available on the SkyCity website at www.skycity.co.nz. In Queenstown, whilst the larger SkyCity Queenstown property is expected to reopen from 8 September 2021, the smaller Wharf Casino property remains closed as the ongoing border restrictions continue to have a detrimental effect on the local Queenstown economy in particular, which is largely dependent on tourism. The SkyCity Auckland property continues to remain closed whilst Auckland remains at COVID-19 Alert Level 4. SkyCity's businesses outside of New Zealand, SkyCity Adelaide and SkyCity Online Casino, are unaffected by the latest restrictions in New Zealand. SkyCity Adelaide remains open with physical distancing and hygiene requirements already in place. SkyCity will provide further updates as new material information becomes available.
