Sky appoints Chief Financial Officer

16 September 2021 Sky appoints Chief Financial Officer Sky New Zealand has appointed Tom Gordon as Chief Financial Officer. Tom is currently Head of Finance for Vodafone New Zealand, and has operated in a range of senior finance roles at Vodafone including Interim CFO during the sale of Vodafone to Infratil and Brookfields. Sky Chief Executive Sophie Moloney welcomed the appointment, saying: "Tom has extensive strategic and operational finance experience, as well as strong knowledge of the telecommunications and media sectors, and we are delighted that he is joining the Sky team." Tom will join Sky on 15 December 2021, at which time Interim CFO Andrew Hirst will return to his role as Corporate Finance Partner at Deloitte. Acknowledging Andrew's contribution, Sophie said: "Andrew has provided excellent leadership of the finance function during his time at Sky, and leaves with our sincere thanks. We are pleased to be able to implement a smooth transition and look forward to the contribution Tom will make as we lean into an exciting future for Sky in FY22 and beyond."
